Just ahead of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL launch event, Google has made a massive price cut to its Pixel 2 XL smartphone in India for the 64GB storage variant. It is now available for Rs. 45499.

A recognised Mumbai-based mobile retailer Mahesh Telecom shared the information via Twitter but did not mention if the new price is applicable to both online and offline stores. At the time of writing this news, Amazon India and Flipkart were showing the old prices of Rs. 60,999.

The Google Pixel 2 XL was launched in 2017 alongside the Pixel 2 and at that time it was undoubtedly the best smartphone in terms of specs, especially the cameras. There is a 12.2-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.

The Pixel 2 XL features a 6-inch QHD+ display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 64-bit Octa-Core processor paired with 4GB RAM. It is a single-SIM device and packs a 3520mAH lithium-ion battery.
