POCO F1

Xiaomi Poco F1 (Pocophone F1) has started receiving n new stable update with build number MIUI v9.6.22.0.OEJMIFD that comes with system improvements and brings face unlock feature in some regions.

The update also contains August security patch. It weighs around 423MB in size and brings fixes for the camera, phone, and recorder apps, as reported by our readers. Another feature that has been reported to join the update is the ability to uninstall Mi Roaming app, which comes preinstalled with the handset.

The face unlock feature has been introduced to the regions like Bangladesh, France, Nepal, Poland, Spain, and Sri Lanka.

A few days back, the Poco F1 received the MIUI 9.6.18.0 update with new features and optimizations such as virtual buttons fix, 3rd party app launch fix, optimised camera launching process and image processing, etc.

Xiaomi Poco F1 Specifications

The Poco F1 comes with a 6.18-inch full HD screen with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels 19:9 ratio. Being a Xiaomi product, the POCO F1 runs on MIUI skin based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

It’s powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor as seen in other flagship competing phones such as OnePlus 6Vivo NexOppo Find X, etc. The 2.8Ghz 10nn FinFet SoC is paired with Adreno 630 for graphics.

Dual cameras have been given at the rear of the smartphone with a 12-megapixel primary and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Dual pixel autofocus feature has been used in its sensors. The Poco F1 features a 20-megapixel front camera.
