Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 is in the pipeline that’ll be used by OEMs in their flagship devices. The chipset has appeared on the benchmarking website Geekbench with an impressive score.
The chipset was spotted by GSMArena on Geekbench but it only appeared with the codenamed ‘msmnile’ and no clear name which chipset it is. It is said that this could be the Snapdragon 855.
The alleged SoC got a single-core score of 3,697 and a multi-core score of 10,469. However, the multi-core score still falls behind the 4,311 scored by Apple’s 2017 flagship A11 processor.
It is speculated that Apple could introduce A12 chip in the 2018 iPhone models and it’ll definitely perform even better than the A11. So gaining more points than the upcoming Snapdragon 855.
