Oppo’s Realme brand smartphone the Realme 2 has already been launched in India last month and now the company is gearing up to launch the handset in Indonesia.

Realme, which is the sub-brand of Oppo has released the official poster on its Instagram page confirming the Realme 2 Series launch in Indonesia on October 9. The company, however, did not mention if both handsets, the Realme 2 and Realme 2 Pro will be launched at the event.

The Realme 2 Pro will be launched in India on September 27 and expected to be better endowed than the Realme 2.

The Realme 2 comes in a diamond pattern finishing with improved reflecting effect and 12-layer nanotech. It has a 6.2-inch display with 88.8% screen-to-body ratio and a notch above.

It is powered by a Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with 3GB and 4GB RAM. To recall, the Realme 1 was launched with a MediaTek Helio P60 processor. It runs on ColorOS 5.1 based Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone also comes with Smart Drive Mode.

In India, the Realme 2 is available in the option of Red, Blue or Black colours, at a price starting Rs. 8,99 for 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant.
