Microsoft has released a bunch of new firmware updates for Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 4. These update mainly focusses on Improving the Battery Stability and System Security. The update is available for Surface Pro 3 on Windows 10 Creators Update, build 1703 or greater and for Surface Pro 4 the update is available on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, build 1709 or greater.
The update includes multiple files for both Surface Pro 3 and 4, but the good thing is you can download the firmware and drivers bundle for both the devices from the links below.
Moreover, as the new updates are rolling out now it should arrive automatically on your Surface Pro device. However, if you don’t want to wait you can also install the update manually, simply follow the steps below.
- Go to Start , and select Settings > Update & security > Windows Update.
- Select Check for updates. If updates are available, they will install automatically.
- You may need to restart your Surface after the updates have installed.
