Vivo X23

Vivo has launched a new smartphone in the premium mid-range segment in China, the Vivo X23. Earlier today, the company also launched the Vivo V11 Pro in India.

Both smartphones come with waterdrop design notch and in-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device. The company said that 75 percent of people prefer the in-display fingerprint technology over other unlocking feature.

Vivo X23 Features, Specifications

The Vivo X23 has a 6.4-inch Halo Full-View Super AMOLED display panel with a full-HD+ resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC.

There is 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The battery is 3,400mAh equipped with 22.5W fast charging support. The Vivo X23 comes with twin-turbo acceleration technology which offers two features – System Turbo and Game Turbo.

In terms of optics, the smartphone houses dual camera setup in a vertical module with 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 primary sensor and a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens secondary sensor. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS with FunTouch OS 4.1 skin on top.

Vivo X23 Price and availability

The Vivo X23 is priced at CNY 3,498 (around INR 36,000) for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset will go on sale in China starting Sept. 14. The company has also launched a special Vivo Logo Phone that will be available in the market by Oct. 1.

At the time of covering the news, Vivo did not mention anything regarding the global availability of Vivo X23 and special Vivo Logo Phone variant.
