After days of leaks and rumors Xiaomi today finally launched its latest Redmi Note 6 Pro in Thailand. The mid-range smartphone is the successor to the Redmi Note 5 Pro which includes not big but some minor upgrades.
Some of the key highlights of the phone include a 6.26-inch Display, Dual AI Front Cameras, and SD 636 SoC. The new Redmi Note 6 Pro will be available in Black, Blue, and Rose Gold color options priced at 6,990 baht, which roughly converts to 1,499 yuan or Rs. 15,683 INR ad that’s petty much similar to the price of the Redmi Note 5 Pro price in India.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Specifications
The Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch on top of it. The display is bigger than the Redmi Note 5 Pro‘s 5.99-inch display. The phone runs Android Oreo 8.1 out-of-the-box with the company’s own MIUI 9 on top.
Under the hood, the device packs Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor, same that’s found on the Redmi Note 5 Pro. The device comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded further via a microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the Redmi Note 6 Pro sports a dual rear camera setup at the back, there is a 2-megapixel main camera that comes with Dual Pixel autofocus and f/1.9 aperture, and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor. On the front, the phone sports dual AI cameras including a 20-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. There’s also support for Portrait Mode and Face Unlock feature.
The new Redmi Note 6 Pro packs a bigger 4,000mAh battery that also comes with fast charging support and can last for up to two days on a single charge.
