After releasing the stable Android 9.0 Pie for the Nokia 7 Plus, HMD GLobal today announced the availability of Android 9.0 Pie beta for the Nokia 6.1 Plus through the Nokia Beta Labs.

Juho Sarvikas, Cheif Product Officer at HMD Global took Twitter to announce the news. So if you are one of the owners Nokia 6.1 Plus and want to get your hands on the latest Android update you need to sign up to become a beta tester.

This makes the Nokia 6.1 Plus second Nokia handset after Nokia 7 Plus to receive the Android Pie beta. It’s an Android One phone that was launched in India a couple of months ago (Augusr 2018) at a price tag of Rs 15,999.

Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with dual-SIM (Nano) support and runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo, and sports a 5.8-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There is a dual rear camera setup, with a 16-megapixel primary sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and the secondary 5-megapixel monochrome sensor with a f/2.4 aperture.
