Honor Magic 2 New Live

The Honor Magic 2 was first teased at the launch of Honor Play at IFA 2018 this year. Now we know that the smartphone will be launch on October 31 at an event held in China. However, we now have some new freshly leaked image of the Honor Magic 2 along with its full specifications ahead of its final launch. The leaked images have been posted by a Chinese actress Zanilia Zhao, who shared several live images of the Honor Magic 2 on its Weibo account along with its retail box.

The shared images show a red color variant of the Honor Magic 2. The Zhao post on the Weibo also hinted that the phone will also come with a custom virtual assistant called “Yoyo”. As its another big highlight, the Honor Magic 2 will sport a total of six cameras setup, three on the rear and three at the front as well.

The Honor Magic 2 was already teased to come with a slider back panel, however, Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi Mix 3 will also feature a similar slide back panel sporting a dual front-facing camera on it.

Honor Magic 2 Specifications

The Magic 2 full specs were recently leaked on the Chinese certification site Tenaa. The listing shows that the device will run on Android 9.0 Pie and will be powered by the company’s flagship HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

It will feature a 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

On the camera front, the Honor Magic 2 will as I said above will sport six cameras on the device which includes the main 16-megapixel primary sensor, a 24-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 16-megapixel sensor on the rear.

At the front, the device will feature a 16-megapixel main camera + 20 secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. The Honor Magic 2 will also be the worlds first device to sport six cameras setup. The device will also include an in-display fingerprint sensor and 3D face recognition. The Honor Magic 2 will pack a 3,400mAh battery under the hood and will also support 40W fast charging.
