Huawei’s sub-brand Honor today announced that its Waterplay 8 tablet will be launched on October 31 at an event in Beijing. On its official Weibo account published a poster revealing the date of its new Waterplay 8 tablet.
Under the influence of the increasing trend of dual cameras in smartphones, the Waterplay 8 will also house a dual-camera setup at the rear. Another highlight of the tablet is the IP67 certification that makes it water resistant.
As far as the specifications are concerned, there is nothing official but as per rumors are surfacing the Waterplay 8 tablet is expected to be equipped with the Kirin 710 processor clubbed with 3GB or 4GB of RAM.
The internal storage will be 64GB which is expected to get microSD card support for further expansion up to 256GB. The display will be of 8-inches and the battery to come with 18W fast charge support.
The predecessor of Waterplay 8 came with a 10-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and powered by HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC mated with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage options.
