Recently Apple rolled out its latest iOS 12 updates for iPhones and iPads. However, few days after its release, several users with the new iPhone XS, XS Max, and other who updated to the iOS 12 started reporting about the battery charging issue on their devices. On an earlier date user had also reported about some bad WiFi and low cell signal strength issue on the new iPhone XS and XS Max. However, a fix for these issues was expected with a future iOS update and now Apple has released iOS 12.1 Beta which is said to be fixing the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max battery charging issue.
According to iMore’s Rene Ritchie, the charging issue on the new iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max is now fixed with iOS 12.1 beta update and users will no longer need to double check to make sure their devices are charging after being plugged in.
Today’s iOS 12.1 beta includes a fix for the charging issue some people were experiencing with iPhone and iPad.
With it, no more delay or uncertainty about charging. You’ll be back to just plugging it in and getting power.
(Pretty much what I said in my video yesterday.)
