Chinese smartphone maker Meizu has started teasing the launch of Meizu Note 8 in China. The handset will be launched on 25th October at Beijing Performing Arts Center.
There are several images released by the company to tease the launch. It also confirms that the Note 8 will be a camera-centric smartphone as one of the teaser images reveals. Meizu has not revealed any other information regarding the handset.
Meizu Note 8 has been in leaks for a quite long time and recently it was spotted on Chinese certification website TENAA with model number M822Q. The listing also reveals some of the specs of the device.
The smartphone is expected to come with a 6-inch Full-HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It is going to run on an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Meizu Note 8 will be sporting a dual camera setup at the rear with 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensors, while on the front we can see an 8-megapixel selfie sensor. The TENAA listing also reveals that the handset will be running Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
