Huawei Mate 20 Pro

Huawei is all set to launch three new Mate series smartphones on October 16 in London, the Mate 20, Mate 20 and the Mate 20X gaming smartphone which was teased by the company yesterday.

The new real-life images of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro was leaked on Chinese social media platform Weibo and shared by Twitter tipster Ice Universe. We can see the front and back side of the handset with triple camera setup and LED flash.

The triple camera setup at the rear has been configured inside a square stacking, with the sensors appearing in an ‘L’ like pattern. As seen in previous high-end Huawei smartphones, the Mate 20 Pro also comes with Leica brand lenses.

The front has a bezel-less full-screen display with a notch on the top running across more than half the phone’s width housing the front camera and sensors. We can also see a small chin at the bottom.

We can’t see the fingerprint sensor at the rear, so we expect the handset to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. From the images, it is also confirmed that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will arrive in a Black color option, though it is also expected in Blue and Twilight color options.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro Specifications

Till now only a few specs have been confirmed such as the Kirin 980 processor, a 6.9-inch QuadHD+ OLED display and triple camera setup at the rear. The smartphone is expected to run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

We can see the Huawei Mate 20 Pro bearing 6GB/8GB of RAM, a 4200mAh battery enabled with SuperCharge 2.0 technology and for gaming Huawei’s own GPU Turbo 2.0 technology.
