This year HMD Global launched several new devices which consist of the recently launched Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 5.1 and the Android One powered Nokia 7.1. Now Nokia has launched a new Android One powered device in India called the Nokia 3.1 Plus. The new Nokia 3.1 Plus comes with a slightly bigger display and improved hardware specs than the Nokia 3.1 which was launched in August this year.

Nokia 3.1 Plus comes with a bigger 6-inch HD+ display with 18:9 screen to body aspect ratio and there is no Notch. The phone runs MediaTek’s Helio P22 SoC with a maximum clock speed of 2GHz and comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. There are two different variants of the device, first comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage and the second variant that comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

In the camera department, Nokia 3.1 Plus sports a dual cameras setup, a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.0) and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor (f/2.4). There is also a single LED flash for low light photos.

On the front, the phone sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera with AI enabled bokeh mode. No Face Unlock support has bee given on the device.

For powering the device there is a bigger 3,500mAh battery than the 2,990mAh battery which was used on the Nokia 3.1. As the device is a part Android One program you can expect it to get the latest Android 9 Pie update soon.

Nokia 3.1 Plus Price in India

The smartphone has been priced at Rs 11,499 for the 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage variant, however, the price of the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant hasn’t bee revealed yet. Both the variants will go on sale starting October 19 via online and offline retail stores.
