Oppo has launched the first smartphone under its K-series in China, the Oppo K1. The handset is a mid-range device priced starting at CNY 1,599 (around INR 17,000) for the 4GB RAM variant.
As mentioned earlier, the Oppo K1 is a mid-range smartphone and comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor which is its highlight feature at this price point. It has very narrow bezels and a waterdrop notch at the top.
Oppo K1 Smartphone Specifications
The Oppo K1 flaunts a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone bears a 3D glass and gradient color texture at the backside.
It is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC coupled with Adreno 512 GPU for graphics and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. It’ll be available in 4GB/6GB RAM options.
In terms of optics, the Oppo K1 sports a dual-camera setup at the rear with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, there is a 25-megapixel sensor for selfies.
Oppo K1 Price and Availability
The Oppo K1 is now available for pre-orders on the company’s China website and will go on sale starting October 19. The smartphone is priced at CNY 1,599 (around INR 17,000) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model is priced at CNY 1,799 (around INR 19,000). It will be available in Van Gogh Blue and Mocha Red color options.
