Oppo has launched a new smartphone in China, the Oppo R15x which is almost identical to the recently launched Oppo K1. The R15x comes with a waterdrop notch design, dual-rear cameras, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
Besides the above mentioned features, the handset also features a 25-megapixel front camera and has 6GB RAM. Let’s now discuss the specifications in detail.
Specifications of Oppo R15x
The Oppo R15x flaunts a 6.4-inch display having a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. As far as the chipset is concerned, the handset is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor. As mentioned above, there is a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
At the backside, the smartphone bears a dual-camera setup in a vertical module having a 16-megapixel and a 2-megapixel sensor. There is a 25-megapixel front camera which is also the highlight feature of the device.
Both the front and rear camera is enabled with AI capabilities. The front camera comes with modes like 800 detection modes, and intelligent beauty features. The Oppo R15x also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The handset packs a 3,500mAh battery, run on Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.2 skin on top and also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.
Price and Availability of Oppo R15x
The Oppo R15x has been priced in China at CNY 2,499 (around INR 26,400) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage model. The smartphone is now available for pre-booking on Opposhop and will go on sale starting November 1 in Nebula gradient and Ice Blue color options.
