Here is a good news for all those PS4 players who have been in a long wait for this feature which will allow them to change their PlayStation Network Online ID from their PlayStation 4 system. Sony has finally announced that it will soon roll out the much-requested features which will allow them to change their PlayStation Network Online ID.

Sony said in a blog post that the beta testing for this feature will begin soon and the beta will be a part of the PlayStation Preview Program. The beta test will be available to select users who have pre-registered as testers for previous PS4 system software betas.

Sony said, that players will be able to change their PSN Online ID as many times as they want during the beta preview program.

However, the final feature will not be Free, Sony said that the first change will be free, and after that changing the ID will cost $9.99 USD / CAD. For PlayStation Plus members, it will cost $4.99 USD/ CAD after the first change.

Players will be able to change their PSN online ID through the Settings menu or via the Profile page of your PS4. Please do note that the PSN online ID change feature will only be compatible with games and applications for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita systems which have been originally published after April 1, 2018.
