Earlier this year TCL announced the new line up of smartphones including Alcatel 5, 3X, 3V, 3, 1X, and the 1C at Mobile World Congress 2018. Now TCL has launched a new Alcatel 3T 8 tablet exclusive to T-Mobile in the U.S.
The tablet comes with 8-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display with Asahi glass. It runs on Android Oreo 8.1 and powered by a MediaTek MT8765A 1.5GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage that can be expanded by a microSD card of up to 128GB. The tablet is touted as the “first-ever 600MHz-capable tablet”.
In the camera department, the tablet sports two 5MP cameras one at the back and one at the front. As for the design, the tablet features a metallic black finish with the Alcatel logo at the back.
The Tablet also includes features such as new kids mode, which provides a parental control panel that lets you set usage time limits and select which apps your children can use. It also includes Alcatel-exclusive Eye Care mode which reduces blue light and provides an optimized brightness so that your eyes don’t get hurt.
The Alcatel 3T 8 tablet comes with a powerful 4080mAh battery so can enjoy watching videos, gaming, and reading for the longest time.
Alcatel 3T 8 tablet will be available in the U.S. exclusively on T-Mobile and will finally go on sale starting October 12 for $150.
