Xiaomi has finally launched the Mi MIX 3 smartphone at an event in China today. The Mi MIX 3 is a first Xiaomi smartphone that’ll come with 5G support and up to 10GB RAM. It has got dual cameras both at the front and rear.
Besides the 5G support and 10GB RAM, other highlight features include a full-screen display with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.4 percent and a 24-megapixel+2-megapixel front camera sensor.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 Specifications, Features
As mentioned earlier, the Xiaomi MI MIX 3 will support 5G connectivity and a 5G version is set for release in Europe early next year. There is a 6.4 inch Full HD Plus OLED display with no notch and has a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and aspect ratio 19.5:9.
Under the hood, we get the Snapdragon 845 processor paired with Adreno 630 GPU for graphics and comes in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB of RAM + 256GB storage. There is a “Forbidden City Palace Museum” special edition model that comes with 10GB RAM.
Android Oreo 8.1 based MiUI 10 running Mi Mix 3 sports a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel wide-angle + 12-megapixel telephoto lens, while on the front there is a 24-megapixel+2-megapixel selfie camera sensor. It’ll soon receive the Android 9 Pie update.
The handset is fueled by a 3850mAh battery and comes with standard connectivity options dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB type C charging. For security, you get both fingerprint sensor and face unlock.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 Price and Availability
The 6GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant is priced in the Chinese market at CNY 3,299 (around INR 34,800), 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at CNY 3,599 (around INR 37,900) and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant priced at CNY 3,999 (around INR 42,100 ).
There is also a “Forbidden City Palace Museum” special edition of Mi MIX 3 which will have 256 GB of storage with 10GB RAM. The price of the special variant is CNY 4,999 (around INR 52,700). There is no news of the MI MIX 3 launch in India.
