Soon after the release of the November 2018 security patch, Xiaomi Mi A2 will soon start receiving the Android 9.0 Pie update. The November update was based on Android 8.1 Oreo with system stability, and bug fixes.
According to TheAndroidSoul, the Android Pie update on Mi A2 was released but later halted by the company due to some crucial issues that remain unknown yet. However, it’s expected to get fixed released again.
As per the screenshot shared by TAS, the Android Pie update came with the build number PKQ1.180904.001.V10.0.1.0.PDIMIFJ and November 2018 security patch.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box and sports a 5.99-inch full-HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The handset uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and will be available in 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage options.
