Honor 8C Budget Smartphone and Honor Band 4 Launched in India

Huawei sub-brand Honor has launched a new budget smartphone in India, Honor 8C. The handset has already been launched in China in October. It comes in a gradient finish that gives it a premium feel.

The highlight feature of the Honor 8C is its selfie camera that comes with artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm. This makes the face unlock feature more secure. The company also launched the Honor Band 4 at the same event.

Honor 8C Features, Specifications

The Honor 8C has a 6.26-inch LCD display offering a resolution of 720 x 1,520 pixels and 19:09 aspect ratio. We also see the notch on the display. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC drives the handset.

The handset comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. There is a 4000 mAh battery which seems enough to give power to a big display phone.

You’ll get dual rear cameras in this phone with 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. The front houses an 8-megapixel selfie shooter and as mentioned earlier it is enabled with AI capabilities.

Talking about the software, the Honor 8C runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with EMUI skin on top. However, there is no information when this handset will receive the latest Android 9.0 Pie.
