MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM for the Redmi 6 Pro

Xiaomi has started releasing the MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM for its Redmi 6 Pro smartphone in India. The update is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and includes November Security Patch.

The company on its official forum posted the information about the update and also published the full changelog. MIUI 10 update on Redmi 6 Pro comes with version V10.0.1.0.0DMMIFH.

There is an all-new user interface specifically developed for full-screen devices and lets the content take the front stage. The update also brings natural sound system such as sounds of the forest, beach, drizzle, stove fire.

AI pre-loading, Portrait mode for the front camera and system apps (including Clock and Notes) got a major revamp too.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro was launched in September 2018 under Redmi 6 series for the mid-range market segment and equipped with dual-rear camera setup, face recognition, 19:9 aspect ratio on the display.

It comes with a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with 1080×2280 resolution and run by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. For graphics, it has Adreno 506 GPU, the same found in Redmi Y2.

The Redmi 6 Pro is available in two variants in India – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. In China, it was launched in three variants – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage.
