Motorola is expected to unveil its Moto G-series lineup at the Mobile World Congress in February next year. The G-series will include the Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus and G7 Play. Today, the Moto G7 Play appeared on the US telecommunications certification website the FCC.
The FCC listing reveals the images and key specifications of the handset. The smartphone appeared in Black and Silver color variants but we can expect more options at the launch time.
As far as the look and design are concerned, the handset seems to be similar to that of previous devices from the company. We can see a single rear camera with an LED flash a Moto logo underneath it that will embed the fingerprint sensor.
The display has a notch housing the front camera, earpiece, and sensors. We can see the G7 Play running Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
The FCC listing also reveals the specifications of the device. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset, Adreno 506 GPU, and 2,820mAh battery. The Moto G7 Play will arrive in 3GB or 4GB of RAM + 16GB or 32GB memory options.
The internal storage will get a microSD card support and for connectivity, there will be a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
