HMD Global has finally launched its mid-range Nokia 7.1 smartphone in India. The handset made its global debut in London in October. The company is touting Nokia 7.1 as the perfect combination of style and substance.
It is based on the Android One program which ensures the latest software updates and three years of monthly security patches. The highlight features of the Nokia 7.1 includes the PureDisplay panel and depth-sensing Zeiss Optics.

The Nokia 7.1 holds a 5.84-inch full HD+ display with a notch on top and a 19:9 aspect ratio. It runs Android Oreo out-of-the-box but the company has started rolling out Android Pie update. So, if you’ve decided to buy this phone you can upgrade the latest Android OS version via an over the air update.
The handset is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile platform paired with 4 GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. You also get the option to expand the storage up to 400 GB via microSD card.
A 3,060mAh battery fuels the device that supports fast charging and said to give up to 50 percent charge in 30 minutes. Coming to the camera department, the rear panel has dual cameras with ZEISS optics in a combination 12MP+5MP.
The camera comes with AI technology lets you add an artistic touch to every photo with 3D personas, masks, and filters. You also get features like the bokeh effect and Pro mode. The front has an 8MP selfie camera.
In terms of connectivity, the Nokia 7.1 offers WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/AGPS+GLONASS, NFC, 4G LTE and a USB type-C port for charging.

The price of Nokia 7.1 in India is Rs 19,999. The smartphone is now available for pre-orders and will go on sale from December 7 in Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel color options.
