At its 5th ColorOS Anniversary Celebration in Shenzhen China, Oppo debuts the latest ColorOS 6.0. Oppo also revealed that the ColorOS has received 13 major version updates so far and have been installed on more than 250 million devices in over 140 countries and regions. Oppo also showcased several features of its latest UI and said that it will be available by 2019 next year. The new ColorOS 6.0 will power upcoming high-end as well as older entry-level Oppo devices based on Android 9 Pie.

As for the design change, Oppo has revamped the overall UI interface with the various light color background schemes. The new ColorOS 6.0 will offer better navigation experience on larger screen displays. The new ColorOS also brings a large number of lightweight, elegant, and rhythmic color systems.

Oppo has also introduced a new font scheme called the Oppo Sans for typing anything on the device. It combines the Chinese character library in cooperation with Hanyi, a well-known domestic font manufacturer. The new font scheme includes white typesetting art, creating paragraphs with blanks to make the interface more refreshing and the reading experience easier.

Oppo on its latest ColorOS 6.0 has added new Animations on the lock screen of the device. In addition to this, Oppo has also introduced a new AI application that will analyze app activity on your device for 15 days to learn user habits. The feature will then freeze apps in the background, instead of closing them.
