OnePlus 6T finally hits the Chinese market as the handset today launched in China and now available for the pre-orders including a new ‘Thunder Purple‘ color variant. The OnePlus 6T was launched at an event in New York on October 29 and in India on October 30.
It’s important to note that the Purple color OnePlus 6T has been launched only in China and right now no information if this variant will go international market or not. The global variant is only available in a Midnight Black color option.
OnePlus 6T Specifications, Features
The OnePlus 6T comes with a 6.41-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display offering a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels gets the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It is powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset mated with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage.
The notch on the display still exists but this time it has become smaller as compared to the notch on OnePlus 6. It is a waterdrop-style notch as we’ve seen in other smartphones like the Oppo F9 Pro, Vivo V11 Pro, etc.
It’s a dual-SIM (Nano) device that runs OxygenOS based on Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. The OnePlus 6T is fueled with a 3700mAh battery with fast charging support which is said to deliver a full day of power in 30 minutes of charge.
The smartphone holds a dual 16-megapixel+20-megapixel rear camera setup, and a single 16-megapixel selfie snapper. The camera comes with several features like the Google Lens integration which you can access directly from the main screen of the camera application, Studio Lighting feature, Nightscape or Night Photography feature, etc.
In terms of connectivity options, the OnePlus 6T comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C (v2.0) port.
