According to an exclusive report from tech blog Allaboutsamsung we now have some more unconfirmed details about the Galaxy A8s design and the specifications. According to the report, Samsung is going to use an Infinity-O LCD screen on its upcoming Galaxy A8s instead of using the OLED panel.

The report further claims that the upcoming Galaxy A8s will feature a 6.39-inch Infinity-O display manufactured by BOE with FHD+ resolution.
The upcoming Galaxy A8s will be powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The device will boast a bigger 3,000mAh battery with a USB Type-C charging port, which also hints that the device might come with fast charging support.
In the camera department, the Galaxy A8s will sport triple rear camera setup like seen on the recently launched Samsung Galaxy A7 and OPPO R17 and R17 Pro. There will a 24MP, 5MP and 10MP sensor on the rear. However, the camera functionality and the aperture are not yet known.
But as per the report, the Galaxy A8s could have the same camera setup as the Galaxy A7 that comes with a f/1.8 aperture with 3D Portrait lighting, AI beautification, and a f/2.0 aperture on the front camera.
At the front, there will be a 24MP selfie camera set up placed under a 6.7mm diameter hole in the display on the left. The Galaxy A8s body measures 159.11 x 74.88mm and 7.38mm thick.
As for the availability, the report further states that the new Galaxy A8s might be launched in January next year with a black-gray gradient color option. However, the pricing and the exact launch date are not yet known.
