Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) comes Equipped with world’s first Quad Camera setup. The smartphone was launched last month at an event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Samsung had also launched its first triple rear camera setup phone, the Galaxy A7 just a couple of days back before the A9 launch. Now Samsung has launched its Galaxy A9 (2018) smartphone in India.
Galaxy A9 (2018) Price and Availability
The Galaxy A9 (2018) will go on sale in India priced at Rs. 36,990 for the 6GB RAM variant, while the 8GB RAM model has been priced at Rs. 39,990. Both different RAM variants come with the 128GB of onboard storage which can also be expanded up to 512B via micro SD card.
The Galaxy A9 (2018) in India will go on sale starting November 28 via online and offline retail stores across the country.
Specifications of the Galaxy A9 (2018)
As its main key highlight, the Samsung Galaxy A9 comes with a quad camera setup which consists of an 8-megapixel ultra wide sensor with a 120-degree field of view and f/2.4 aperture.
The second one is a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, f/2.4 aperture, and a 10-megapixel sensor. The third lens has a 24-megapixel resolution sensor with f/1.7 aperture and the last sensor is the depth camera with 5-megapixel resolution and f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone features an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The Galaxy A9 sports a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution and runs on Android Oreo with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on top. It is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM options.
The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C and NFC other connectivity options.
