Vivo has added a new smartphone to its mid-range segment by launching the Vivo Y93 in the Chinese market. The highlight of the Vivo Y93 is waterdrop notched display, big 4030 mAh battery, and 4GB RAM.
The smartphone comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ display offering a resolution of 720×1580 pixels with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor.
The 1.95 GHz SoC is clubbed with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage which further expandable via microSD card up to 256GB. It is a dual-SIM device that runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with FuntouchOS 4.5 skin on top.
The Vivo Y93 sports a dual rear camera setup in a vertical module with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor which is enabled with features like phase-detection autofocus, AI-powered portrait mode, etc.
On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera that comes with features like AI beautification, Face Wake and AR stickers. For security, there is facial recognition technology that can unlock the phone using the front camera.
For connectivity options, the handsets include 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and OTG support and houses a 4,030mAh battery.
As mentioned earlier, the Vivo Y93 is launched in China priced at CNY 1,500 (around INR 15,900) and is available for purchase via Vivo China online store.
