Nokia 3 (TA-1020) smartphone has started receiving the Android 8.1 Oreo. The update comes with Build number 00WW-3_310_SP04 and software version V4.42D.

The latest update weighs 1818.3 MB in size, therefore, it’s advisable to use Wi-Fi. Its changelog includes revamped Power Menu, New Settings Menu, Bluetooth Battery Percentage, Improved System Stability, and December security patch.

The Nokia 3 is a mid-range smartphone that comes with a 5.0-inch HD display and powered by a MediaTek’s MT6737 processor clubbed with 2GB RAM. The smartphone packs a 2,630mAh battery.

The handset came in February 2017 running Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and it received the Android 8.0 Oreo back in April. Now, this Android 8.1 update is a big surprise and will be in good combination with the above-mentioned hardware configurations.

It is an OTA update, so you’ll get the notification once it reaches your device based on the market.
