Galaxy Note 9 Software Update

A new Android Pie beta update has started rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. This is the fourth beta update and comes with software version N960FXXU2ZRLT.

As reported by SamMobile, this Android Pie beta update for Galaxy Note 9 is currently released for users in India, Germany, and South Korea. However, other regions with beta programs may also get this update soon.

Being a minor update, it comes with 1 January 2019 Security Patch and few bug fixes which you can see below in the changelog:

  • Bugs  that  have  been  fixed

–  Force touch of home button in gesture mode does not work

  App stops when playing motion photos in gallery

–  Bixby service stops in two phone mode

Navigation bar is not changed when changing to one-hand operation mode in gesture  mode

  Keyboard specific part (bottom right) can not be touched.

It’s a FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) update and when ready you’ll get a pop-up notification to download and install the update. You can manually check for the update by going to the Settings » Software Update » tap the Download and install option.
