After making it available to limited users, Oppo has finally started releasing the ColorOS 5.2 Stable update. It’s an over-the-air (OTA) update for Realme 1 users and released in a phased manner with a select number of users receiving it from today.
A wider roll-out is expected over the coming days. The update comes with CPH1861EX_11.A.27 and December security patch. The changelog brings improvement in the beauty mode feature and vivid mode can now be used simultaneously.
As mentioned earlier, for security, the update comes with December 5, 2018, Android Security Patch. Users can also add author watermark for the camera after the update.
As far as the ColorOS 5.2 update on Realme 2 Pro is concerned, there is no news on that. However, the update was scheduled to be released by the end of December. It is reported by the Realme support team that the staged rollouts require time and some devices may receive the update in early January 2019.
The ColorOS 5.2 update on Realme 2 Pro will bring several features including the full HD slow-motion video. The Android 9.0 Pie update is also promised for all Realme smartphones in the Q1-Q2 of 2019.
Let’s wait and see when the update rolls out.
