ColorOS 5.2 Stable Update for the Realme 2 Pro

After bringing an update to Realme 1 with December security patch, Oppo has started the roll-out of ColorOS 5.2 stable update for the Realme 2 Pro. However, it’s a staged rollout so only a limited number of users will get it in the initial stage.

The update comes with build number RMX1801EX_11.A.13 and brings a slew of new features such as power optimization feature, slo-mo video, reboot function, etc. You can read the full changelog below:

  1. Added Screen Battery Optimization mode.
  • System
  1. Added reboot function.

You can now swipe up to reboot in the shutdown interface.

2. Optimized reminders when Developer Options, Accessibility Mode and Device Manager are on.

Flashing bar, on-going notification, and text in the upper right corner for “Developer Options”, “Accessibility” and “Device & Privacy” have been turned off.

It’s an OTA update and will be released in a phase-wise manner, so it might take some time to reach all users. The company said, “The OTA will be randomly pushed out to a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs.”
