HTC has launched a new smartphone under the mid-range segment, the HTC Desire 12s. The smartphone is launched in Taiwan but also listed on the company’s Middle East and Africa website.
HTC has launched a very few smartphones in recent days and its latest offerings include Desire 12+ and Desire 12. The highlight feature of the of the HTC Desire 12s is the 13-megapixel camera both on the front and rear.
It has a unique striped dual finish design giving it striking looks and a grip that your hand will love. However, the top and bottom bezels are thick which is something we don’t expect in the time when phones are coming with almost bezel-less displays.
HTC Desire 12s Specifications
The Desire 12s is a mid-range phone so we can’t expect powerful specs, still, it has got decent features. An Octo-Core Snapdragon 435 chipset which is in a combination of 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. The phone has a 5.7-inch HD+ display having an 18:9 aspect ratio and 720×1440 pixels resolution.
The rear camera is 13-megapixel equipped with LED flash, phase detection autofocus and capable of recording 1080 pixel video recording. The front also has a 13-megapixel selfie sensor with LED flash. There is a 3,075 mAh battery and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n.
For location, it has a GPS antenna with GLONASS, NFC feature for sharing, 3.5mm audio jacks, and micro-USB port. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 with HTC Sense.
HTC Desire 12s Pricing and Availability
As mentioned above, the HTC Desire 12s is launched in Taiwan but also listed on the Middle East and Africa website, so we can expect it going global. The pricing of 3GB RAM and 32 GB of storage variant is NT$5,990 (around INR 13,900).
The price of 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage model is NT$6,990 (around INR 16,200). It’ll be available in Red, Black, and Silver color options.
