Microsoft has been providing news through its MSN news app, available on the play store for quite some time now. However, it looks like Microsoft is expanding its curated news section to more users via its new app in the market. Microsoft has now released “Hummingbird,” a news curator app for Android.

However, the app seems to be available in the U.S. as of now, but if you want to play around with the “Hummingbird,” app you can grab its APK file available in the APK Mirror with version number 1.0.2.

The “Hummingbird,” news app file size weighs around 5.4MB and the app can be downloaded on devices running minimum Min: Android 6.0 (Marshmallow, API 23) and latest Android 9 Pie.

To start using the app, you can simply log in with your Microsoft or LinkedIn accounts, but if you want you can skip it as well. The provides you a mix of curated news on Android device by asking you to set up your “Mix,” i.e. the list of topics you’re interested in.

The app lets you read curated news from different news categories i.e. Sports, Entertainment, Science and Tech etc. If you love reading news on your Android device then I think you should give it a try.
