Samsung has launched the Galaxy A8s smartphone in China. It’s a premium mid-range device and not only Samsung’s but also the world’s first phone to come with a small hole in the display to feature the front camera.
Samsung calls it the Infinity-O Display and with this design, Samsung has tried to keep the full-view screen without the notch. It comes in the time when Vivo and Oppo have already launched true bezel-less smartphones, Vivo NEX and Oppo Find X.
It’s worth noting that Huawei and Lenovo are also working on a similar punch-hole camera design. Another highlight of the Galaxy A8s is the triple camera setup at the rear. Let’s talk about the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A8s.

A decent 3,300mAh battery powers the smartphone with fast charging support. The triple camera setup sits at the back panel in a vertical module. The primary camera 24-megapixel sensor, the secondary camera has a 10-megapixel telephoto lens and the third camera is 5-megapixel.
On the front, there is a 24-megapixel selfie camera sits under the display. The Samsung Galaxy A8s offers rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and NFC support for connectivity.
