Xiaomi has launched a new 12.5-inch Notebook Air in the Chinese market. It is an all-metal body, lightweight and a magazine-sized notebook so that you can carry it anywhere.
There are total three variants in the 12.5-inch segment, all powered by 7th Gen Intel Core SoCs and weighs 1.07 kg. One model is powered by an i5 processor and other two powered by the m3 processor.
Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 12.5-inch Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air has 12.5 inches display (measured diagonally) with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (176 ppi) and 5.71mm narrower bezel. The Notebook is powered by Intel’s seventh-generation processor Core i5.
However, as mentioned earlier, the other two models are powered by the 7th Gen Intel m3 processor. There is an Intel HD Graphics 615 integrated graphics.
Intel’s new KabyLake processor has better performance and lower power consumption than the previous generation. The device comes in 4GB RAM + 256GB SSD hard drive. If you want to get more capacity, you can also expand the storage and even expand to 1TB.
For audio, Xiaomi has given AKG special custom dual speaker with specially adjusted Dolby AudioTM Premium Dolby sound. It supports headphones with remote control and microphone (except Apple headset).
Despite being a lighter and thinner, the Mi Notebook Air 12.5 has powerful and durable 600Wh/L battery, resulting in 11.5 hours of battery life. There is a 1-megapixel camera with 1280 x 720 video calls and digital array microphone.
The Mi laptop runs on Windows 10 OS and for connectivity, it features USB-C and HDMI ports.
Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 12.5-inch Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air (12.5″) price is CNY 4299 for the i5 processor variant. The m3 processor model is priced at CNY 3599 for the 128GB variant and CNY 3999 for the 256GB model. There is a 4G model under the m3 processor segment priced at CNY 5099 for the 128GB version.
The i5 variant is now open for pre-order but currently, no sale date has been announced. The other two models are available to buy.
