Poco F1 Now Receiving MIUI 10.1 Stable Update

Xiaomi has started releasing the Android 9.0 Pie based MIUI 10.1 update to the Poco F1. It is a Global Stable ROM which adds Google Lens support and few bug fixes.

Poco F1 is the first smartphone under the Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco. It’s worth mentioning that the smartphone runs on MIUI interface but it’s slightly different to the MIUI that we see on the Xiaomi devices.

The update comes with build number V10.1.3.0.PEJMIFI and weighs around 1.7GB. Poco F1 users will also get the November 2018 Android security patch under this update.

The Poco F1 offers high-end specifications at a premium mid-range price. It successfully gained 700,000 users within 3 months after launching globally. The handset was launched in India in August 2018.

It comes with LiquidCool Technology, Snapdragon 845 SoC, Kevlar carbon fiber back panel, 4000mAh battery, dual rear cameras and 4G+ support which results in up to 275% faster data throughput over conventional 4G.

This is an OTA update and released in a phase-wise manner. You’ll have to wait for the official download notification in the coming days.

On December 4, Poco India General Manager C Manmohan shared the news that the last MIUI 10 beta version on Poco came with 960fps slow-motion video recording. However, the changelog of MIUI 10.1 stable update did not list this feature.

So, we can expect it to be released in coming updates.
