Earlier last month, we reported that three major smartphone manufacturers including the Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo will launch their next devices which expectedly include the Xiaomi Mi 9, Oppo R18 and Vivo X with 48 megapixel rear cameras.
Among others, Xiaomi seems all set to launch its new smartphone next month in January, which is most likely to be the new Xiaomi Mi 9. Xiaomi’s Co-founder and President Lin Bin has shared a new image of the upcoming Xiaomi device, confirming that Xiaomi will launch its new smartphone with 48-megapixel next month.
However, the image doesn’t reveal more about its specs and other camera details but it does reveal that the smartphone will come with a vertically staged triple rear camera setup with LED flashlight and you can also see 48-megapixel written below the flashlight.
On the other hand, Oppo and Vivo are also expected to launch their first smartphone with 48-megapixel in the second quarter of 2019.
But it seems early for Xiaomi to launch the phone in January, which was previously reported to be launch in the first half of 2019 next year.
