Asus’ new ZenFone Max Pro (M2) smartphone has started receiving a firmware update in India. The update comes with software version IN-15.2016.1811.177 and Google security patches.
It’s a FOTA (firmware-over-the-air) update and to start rolling-out soon at a wider scale. However, if you do not want to wait then you can download it from the link below. Here is the changelog:

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) was launched earlier this month alongside ZenFone Max M2. It is a mid-range phone and available in 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option. It has a 6.26-inch full-HD+ display with 1080×2280 pixels resolution.
Asus equips the ZenFone Max Pro (M2) with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and dual camera setup at the rear.
