Vivo launched its first dual-screen and 10GB RAM smartphone as Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition in December 2018. It is a high-end device and with a high price tag. Now it seems the company is working on an affordable version of the handset.
As reported by GizmoChina, two new phones with model number V1820A and Vivo V1820T have listed on TENAA. The regular high-end variant comes with model number V1821A and Vivo V1821T, so the new TENAA listing hints towards a more affordable variant of Vivo NEX Display Edition.
The listing also mentions the specifications which are low as compared to the regular variant, except the displays. A 6.39-inch front AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2340 resolution and a 5.49-inch rear display expected to come.
The processor in the new variant will be Snapdragon 710 with 8GB RAM which is lower than the regular model which is powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC and 10GB RAM. We’ll see a triple camera setup with 12MP + 13MP + 2MP sensors.
Other details like pricing and availability are not available, but we’ll update as soon as they are out, so stay tuned.
