As the year 2019 starts, Motorola has announced the release of Android Pie to the Moto G6 Plus smartphone. The Android 9 Pie update is rolling out for users in India.
Android Pie Update on Moto G6 Plus comes with tons of new features, key improvements. Besides the Android Pie features the update also brings December 2018 Android security patch.
The features include Intuitive Navigation and Recent App, an improved Do Not Disturb mode, colorful settings menu, Adaptive Battery and Adaptive Brightness to enhance the user experience.
The Android Pie also brings a redesigned Quick Settings, simplified volume controls, and a revamped split screen.
The Moto G6 Plus was announced in India in September 2018 and almost similar in both design and specifications. It comes with a 5.9-inch IPS LCD display, a Snapdragon 630 chipset, a single 12-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel RGB camera on the front, and a 3,200mAh battery.
You’ll automatically receive a notification once the update reaches your device. In the meantime, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > System > System updates and then click “Download and Install”.
After installing the software, select “Restart Now” to complete the update.
