Almost a month after releasing the Android Pie to the Nokia 8, HMD Global has finally started releasing the Android Pie update to the Nokia 8 Sirocco. This is really a big surprise for Sirocco’s users as they were feeling forgotten.
Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global today announced the news via Twitter.

The Nokia 8 is the high-end Nokia-branded smartphone came in August 2017, while the Nokia 8 Sirocco is an upgrade to the Nokia 8 announced in 2018 and the Pie update brings features such as Adaptive Battery and App Actions, Adaptive Brightness, Slices, and the new gesture navigation.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco was launched in India in April 2018. It is Android 8.1 Oreo running device and flaunts a 5.5-inch Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) POLED display. The handset comes with 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clubbed with 6GB LPDDR 4X RAM.
The dual camera setup at the rear has a 12-megapixel sensor having F/1.75 aperture and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. A 5-megapixel front camera is also there. The Nokia 8 Sirocco has 128GB of internal storage, but unfortunately, there is no option to increase through MicroSD card.
The update is rolling out in a phased manner, so it might take some time to reach every user. You can wait for the update to reach your device.
