It’s not only Samsung working to bring a foldable phone, but Xiaomi also brought us a piece of surprising news. Xiaomi foldable phone, yes, you read it correctly. Today Xiaomi released a video showing off its foldable phone prototype.
The video was shared on Twitter showing the Xiaomi President and Co-founder Bin Lin using the foldable phone. He is seen watching the Redmi Note 7 video on the prototype device. The name of the phone is not revealed yet.

It’s worth noting that Samsung will launch its first foldable smartphone in March this year. The Galaxy S10 series of phones will be launched at Galaxy Unpacked event on February 20. The foldable phone is expected to be called Galaxy F.
A few days back, video of a foldable phone was leaked but the leaker did say he can’t speak to the authenticity of the video or device. However, he confirmed that it’s allegedly made by Xiaomi.
Now Xiaomi officially released the video. We can see it has three panels and can be used as both smartphone and tablet. The power button on the top of the phone, while at the bottom there is a USB port (looks like Type-C).
Maybe, we can see some changes in the design when the final product is released. Right now, there is no information regarding the technical specifications, price, and availability of the Xiaomi foldable phone. We are reaching out to all the possible sources to get more information. So, stay tuned.
