Nokkia event at MWC 2019

HMD Global has announced the date for its launch event at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019. The company is hosting the event on February 24 where we are expecting to see some big product announcements including the Nokia 9 PureView.

Chief Product Officer at HMD Global, Juho Sarvikas, today tweeted the news, see below. However, there is no other information revealed yet, except the date for the MWC 2019 event. In addition to the Nokia 9, we are also expecting to see the Nokia 6.2.

It’s important to note that Nokia 9 has been for a long a point of discussion. We’ve also seen several leaks and CAD renders of the device which reveals the Penta-camera (five cameras) setup in the handset.

Nokia 6.2 will be the successor to the Nokia 6.1 and information buzzing around regarding its design suggests that it’ll come with a punch-hole camera design, similar to the Samsung Galaxy A8s aka Galaxy A9 Pro (2019).

The Nokia 9 PureView is the flagship device from the company featuring the Snapdragon 845 processor and best-in-class camera. Rumors also suggest the presence of an in-display fingerprint sensor, much like the Vivo Apex.

We are excited for the big event, are you? Let us know in the comment section below what you think about the event.
