Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is holding an event in China on January 8 to launch the Honor 8A smartphone. Today the company via its Weibo account released the launch poster which clearly reveals the date and time of the launch.
The poster also mentions the 64GB of internal storage. No other information is official yet such as the specifications and price or the availability date. The Honor 8A made an appearance on TENAA.
The TENAA listing shared some of the key specifications of the Honor 8A such as an octa-core 2.2GHz processor, 3GB RAM, and a 6.08-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels) LCD display. The smartphone will run on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
The handset will be bearing a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. As mentioned earlier, the poster reveals the handset to come in 64GB storage option, but rumors are surfacing that a 32GB option could also arrive.
The memory will get the option to further expand up to 512GB via microSD card. The Honor 8A is said to pack a 2,920mAh battery and could arrive in four color options – Black, Blue, Gold, and Red.
