Lenovo to launch a new smartphone under the mid-range segment, the Lenovo A5s. As reported by XDA Developers, the Lenovo A5s smartphone has been spotted on the Google Play Developer Console Device Catalog.
The phone is listed with the name Lenovo A5s and specifications along with the image. The handset is running Android Pie and a MediaTek Helio A22 processor drives it. It’s the successor to the Lenovo A5 which came nearly a year ago.
The smartphone will be competing with Xiaomi’s Redmi 6A smartphone which also runs on the same chipset. The processor uses 4 Cortex-A53 cores at 2GHz clock speed. The listing did not reveal the display size but it’ll be an HD+ 720×1440 resolution display.
The Lenovo A5s does not have a notch on the display. There is a 3GB of RAM. Currently, there are no details on the pricing and availability of the handset. We are expecting it to go on sale at some point of time this summer.
