Nearly after four months, LG finally decided to bring the LG V40 smartphone to the Indian market. The company has announced that the LG V40 will be available for sale in India starting January 24.

It is a high-end phone announced in October 2018 for the global market, however, still not available in most of the market. The highlight of the LG V40 is the triple rear cameras and dual front cameras.

Now Indian consumers can take advantage of the device that has a Snapdragon 845  processor, 6GB of RAM and five cameras to please photography lovers.

LG V40 Specifications

The LG V40 ThinQ comes with a 6.4-inch Quad HD OLED display offering a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels. It has got glass and metal build to give it a premium look and feel. The phone also features IP68 and MIL-STD-810G certification.

Qualcomm’s 2018 flagship SoC, Snapdragon 845 powers the handset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. As mentioned earlier, the LG V40 sports a triple rear cameras with 16MP super wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens.

The front houses a dual camera setup consists of an 8MP standard lens and a 5MP wide angle lens. Other features of the LG V40 includes DTS:X surround sound technology, Boombox speakers, and a 3,300mAh battery.

The battery comes with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, however, it is upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie.

The price of LG V40 in India is Rs. 49,990 and will be available exclusively via Amazon India in starting January 24 in Moroccan Blue and Platinum Grey color options.
