Motorola is coming with new smartphones in the first half of 2019 including the Moto G7 series and Z series. Here we’ve got the chance to witness the first CAD images of the Moto Z4 Play.

These CAD renders have been created in partnership with CompareRaja and OnLeaks. The set of renders give us the idea about how the Moto Z4 Play might look like. It reveals the complete design of the device from front and back.

Talking about the front, the display has a waterdrop notch and expected size is 6.2-inch with an FHD+ resolution. The bottom chin is also clearly visible. On the back, we get to see the Moto Mods and this time it’s expected to get a 5G support.

We think 5G support is a key feature in order to stand against competitors like Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, etc as they’ve already planned for 5G devices.

Moto Z4 Play Expected Specifications

The display size of Moto Z4 Play is said to be 6.2-inches. Coming to the cameras, it’s surprising to see that the renders show a single camera at the rear.

It’s surprising because these days not only high-end but even budget phones are also equipped with dual cameras at the rear. We even saw the dual-camera setup in the Moto Z3 Play. The notch on the display houses a front camera.

An LED flash is also fitted in the circular module of the camera and a Motorola’s branding in the center. The report also hints that we could see an in-display fingerprint sensor. the dimensions of the Moto Z4 Play are roughly 158 x 75 x 7.25 mm (9.4mm including rear camera bump).
At the bottom, you can get a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, and a pinhole microphone.
The launch date of Moto Z4 Play is not yet revealed, however, we could see the Moto G7 series of phones launching in early February 2019. We’ll be updating more information so stay tuned.
