Designed to be a new budget smartphone from HMD Global, the specifications of Nokia 1 Plus and the image has leaked. The device would be an upgrade on some technical specifications compared to its predecessor.
The Nokia 1 Plus render (above) only reveals the front of the handset. We can see the front camera, speaker grille and the Nokia branding on the top edge. The bezels around the display are quite thick.
The information was released by TigerMobiles which highlights some key specifications. The Nokia 1 Plus will have a 480 x 960 resolution, however, the display size is not yet revealed. The handset will be powered by the MediaTek chipset MT6739 which is slightly better than the MediaTek MT6737M on its predecessor.
There will be 1GB of RAM but the with how much storage it will come with is still unknown. The leaked details also do not include information regarding the camera configuration or the battery. The phone will run on Android 9 Pie OS.
Regarding connectivity options, the Nokia 1 Plus will have Nano SIM, standard GPS, Wi-Fi, micro-USB, and Bluetooth.
Although its future price, as well as the release date, are not yet known but we expect it to see the light of the day at some in time in the coming February or March.
